Mirror 2 is the second project born from MIRROR1, developed by Igor Bortolussi based on his extensive experience in MKM. After creating Mirror 1, his first fully independent knife design, Igor observed during testing that many users instinctively held the knife "upside down," using the thumb choil ramp—a thumb rest on the blade’s spine, similar to a finger choil—as an alternative grip. This insight led him to develop a new version, the Mirror 2, which retained the same base profile but was reimagined for a more practical, versatile approach. While Mirror 1 stands out as an elegant EDC (Everyday Carry) for refined moments, Mirror 2 is designed for those seeking durability and functionality for everyday tasks. Both models share the same foundational design, but Mirror 2 offers enhanced versatility, making it ideal for more practical use without sacrificing sophistication. Each knife includes a leather sheath with a magnetic system for convenient pocket carry, a feature that Igor crafted during his time at MKM.
